Unstoppable Octobia May

Unstoppable Octobia May - Sharon Flake I will admit that my high hopes going into the reading may have a factor as to why I am so disappointed with "Unstoppable Octobia May." Pros: Octobia and the rest of the characters were a kick and a half. I actually enjoyed seeing life through Octobia May, for the most part. The diversity and subject matter was a decent change too. Cons: The writing weaves in and out of cohesiveness. I felt like the book was trying to get out too much, too quickly.
Overall, "Unstoppable Octobia May" settles right in the grey area where I want to recommend it, but at each individual's discretion.

Thank you to Scholastic and Netgalley for an e-galley to be used for honest bookseller/ review purposes
